My business trip to the north was scheduled every 2 months, and because of the strategic location I would spend a night each at both butterworth & Ipoh. Almost all my trip i will stay at the same hotel because of reason like hospitality, security, parking accessibility and friendly staffs. Unless the my preferred hotel was fully booked, if not i would stick to the usual hotel. But this latest trip to the north is different all together. My night at IPOH, I came accross a new hotel just accross the street to the hotel that i used to stay in. From the appearance I can easily know that the hotel was TUNE HOTEL(the design is quite unique resemblance AIRASIA), So, I took the initiative to go check out the room rate ans see what they offered. To me, my budget was around RM90.00 to RM120.00. The normal package of tune hotel was around RM80.00 (which includes a 5 STAR BED, A POWER SHOWER, a hairdryer, a fan and hangers without wardrode). Aircondition was charged separately at RM12+ for 12 hours and RM20+ for 24 hours, Bath Towel was also charged separately at RM5.30+ per pcs, and 34" TV was also charges at RM15+ per day usage. Besides that, the usage of WIFI was also charged, but according to the friendly staff, they did provide 2 PCs next to the reception counter for FREE PUBLIC USAGE.
On the whole, the room cleanliness are great and comfortable. And the bathroom are very bright and nice. They used the finest brand for all the furniture & fittings such as KDK for their fans, SAMSUNG for their TV, Johnson Suisse for their BASIN & toilet bowl...I would stay again at this hotel on my next trip and i would rate a 7.5/10 for this TUNE HOTEL.
